At 162 Yabba Street, Ascot, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Antony Ng of CMsquare Architects.
The brief was clear: To create a look that pushed boundaries, a styling approach that felt more curated, distinct, and edgier than the architect’s previous projects.
The Brief
This styling project unfolded as a creative photoshoot and gave our team of stylists the opportunity to reimagine the space and present it in a way that felt bold and distinct. We layered personality into the home through carefully considered pieces, leaning into a luxe yet experimental aesthetic that brought depth, intrigue, and a sense of narrative to every room.
The Style
We worked with a palette of deep greens and Calacatta Viola marble, curating bold textures and natural tones to balance warmth with a playful edge. The result was an elevated interior that felt both striking and inviting - luxe without being overdone, and edgy while still cohesive.
Features Worth Highlighting
This home is defined by its architecture, and we styled to enhance those strengths. From the con caved underside of the kitchen bench to the curved glass wall separating indoor and outdoor living, the house offered sculptural elements that demanded equally considered styling.
The BLOK Touch
Our approach is always about more than filling a space. It’s about curating moments that amplify the vibe of the architecture and environment. For Yabba Street, this meant embracing the curves, leaning into a deeper palette, and creating a photoshoot-ready finish that highlighted the boldness of the design.
